About Glittery Grimoire

Hi! I’m Amandah, and I run this blog. If I look familiar, it’s probably because I went by a few different names online. I’m neurodivergent (Chromosome 15q13.3 Microdeletion Syndrome), Wiccan, a witch living in the desert, a soap opera blogger, an amateur woodcarver, and I just have a whole lot of fun with life. That wasn’t always the case. The first half of my life was awful, and I honestly was a “hurt person hurting people.” However, the universe has ways of teaching and humbling you. Now, I’m in the second half of my life, and I plan on making it a life worth living!
I’m a pretty sparkly person these days, but I also take great strides to improve myself. I wasn’t raised to be a good human, so I’m still a work in progress.
My interests are nature exploration, small towns, ghost towns, witchcraft, writing, reading, and learning. I’m always taking some course or class! I also love animals, especially dogs, although I can’t have one where I currently live. I also love nature, herbs, I birdwatch regularly, and I like to draw too.
I’m a gig worker mainly. Mostly blogging and writing, but I also have other income streams.
When I first began Glittery Grimore, I wasn’t sure which direction I was going with it. Now I have a much better view. You will see there are categories at the top. “The Lore” is about mythology, goddesses, history, etc. “The Craft” is all about my woodcarving. “The Lens” is how I view things as a person with Chromosome 15q13.3 Microdeletion Syndrome, Autism, ADHD, and C-PTSD. Then, we have ‘The Grimore.” That’s pretty much where I put everything else, as I have so many interests. I know, bloggers are supposed to “niche.” I try, but honestly, after two decades in the business, I’m “niched” and “alglorigthemd” the F out. So, I just do what I want for the most part.
Take a look around, and I hope you enjoy your time at the Glittery Grimoire.
Blessed be,
Amandah 🙂
